About The Event
Volunteer With Us
Join us in making the Light Up the Square Summer Festival, Cardinal Crew 5K, and 1-Mile Glow Run a meaningful and memorable event for our community.
On Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Medina Public Square Historic District, Cardinal Crew will host an evening centered on community connection, family fun, and substance use awareness. This event will bring together live music, food trucks, yard games, local vendors, and a glowing 5K and 1-mile fun run — all while raising awareness about the impact of substance use disorder on individuals and families and highlighting the importance of support, education, and resources.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with all aspects of the event. Volunteer roles may include:
5K and 1-Mile Glow Run support
Registration and check-in
Directing participants and guests
Assisting with games and family activities
Helping with vendor and event logistics
Supporting setup and cleanup
General event assistance throughout the evening
Whether you can help for part of the event or the full evening, your time and support will make a direct impact. Volunteers play a vital role in helping this event run smoothly and in creating a welcoming, organized, and uplifting experience for all who attend.
By volunteering, you are also helping support the mission of Cardinal Crew, which provides education, community support, scholarships, and free telehealth services to families affected by substance use disorder.
Thank you for being willing to serve our community and help us shine a light on hope, healing, and connection.
