About the Scholarship

Purpose

The Cardinal Crew Foundation Scholarship was created in memory of our father, Thomas Shoop, who lost his battle with alcohol addiction in June of 2022. As adult children of alcoholics, we know that addiction affects more than just the addicted. It not only consumes time and energy, but can place financial strain on a family, making it difficult for children to pursue further education. Cardinal Crew enthusiastically supports and encourages all students, especially those determined to advance their education as far as they can. Our goal is to ensure that those students have the resources to unlock their full potential and obtain that education despite their family circumstances.

Two nonrenewable scholarships in an amount up to $500 will be awarded to eligible applicants per calendar year.
